About Cascades of Tucson
Cascades of Tucson is at 201 North Jessica Avenue in Tucson (Pima County, AZ 85710). Its website places it north of Broadway between Kolb and Wilmot, on a campus of 6 acres.
The ADHS file lists three service types: directed care for up to 45 residents, personal care for up to 172, and supervisory care. Directed care is the ADHS level for residents who cannot direct their own care. The community's website describes help with bathing, dressing and grooming, medication help, and 1 RN and 1 LPN on site. It also describes specialized care for residents with cognitive decline, with a landscaped courtyard, and says it has Certified Champion Teachers in Teepa Snow's program A Positive Approach to Care.
According to the website, apartments come with full kitchens and a patio or balcony, and assisted living residents choose two meals a day. The campus has a heated pool open in season, a fitness center, a salon and a movie theater, and pets are allowed within set guidelines.
Visit in the afternoon and sit in the dining room for a while. Ask to see the actual room, not the model.

Our referral disclosure
Before we refer you to any assisted living home, we send you this notice to read and sign. Here it is now, so you can read it at your own pace.
Arizona law requires that we provide you with the following disclosure notice.
We are in the business of referring residents to assisted living facilities and assisted living homes. We will be paid by the assisted living facility or assisted living home if you move into one of the referred assisted living facilities or assisted living homes. The fee we receive from the assisted living facility or assisted living home into which you move typically ranges from 70 to 100 percent of your first month's rent and care charges. We do have a current business relationship but we do not have a common ownership or control in, or any other financial, business, management or familial relationship with, any of the assisted living homes and assisted living facilities to which we are referring you.
By providing us with a written or electronic notice, you have the right to terminate our services to you at any time, including our use of your personal information. If you terminate our services, we will not be entitled to any fee for any move-in you make after the date of the termination notice unless either:
1. The assisted living facility or assisted living home you choose within the next twelve months is one that we specifically identify and refer to you after we evaluate your profile and requests but before we receive your notice of termination.
2. You communicate with us before you move into the assisted living facility or assisted living home.
To end our services at any time, reply to any email from us or call Integrity Senior Placement at 480.271.7759.
